Had a fun band practice last night. I think the highlight of the evening was the hardcore version of 'Funky Hat.' That was good things. Got to yell and scream a little, hadn't really done that since high school, been too busy trying to be melodic.
Today I get a package in the mail (well, from FedEx anyway). Some new hardware I bought from Newegg. I'll blog more about it later.
Trying to get my money back from Musician's Friend. They might spaz about it, although technically they're supposed to give me a return for up to 45 days. But if they do give me guff, I turn to eBay and maybe even turn a profit. :P
Speaking of making money on eBay, I'm going to be selling some old (and some not-so-old) PC hardware, maybe I can actually make some money.
Why the emphasis on money lately? My rent is going up .. by a lot .. the bastards have me paying almost a hundred dollars more per month this summer! My 12-month lease ends this month, so I have to do month-to-month over the summer (June, July, half of August). They charge a $75 fee to do a month-to-month lease, and then another $15 because the rental rates went up for everyone. I'm quite bothered by this, because they got me by the balls and they know it. So, if I can somehow sell enough stuff each month to have that extra $80, that'd be ideal.
