Well, the wisdom teeth extraction went fine. Thanks for all the well-wishing, but apparently either your thoughts and prayers worked like a charm or they weren't really needed (depends on how you look at it), because I feel 90% normal and getting better by the hour. I'm not on any sort of pain medication right now. I'm taking some sort of steroid for the swelling, which is negligible anyway, and penicillin to prevent infection.

I didn't bother with a drugged-up post because, frankly, I was never at that point. I was a little disoriented, but nothing I haven't handled before under shall-we-say "alternative circumstances" and quite frankly the whole after-surgery experience was quite mild. The only time I was really out of it was immediately following the surgery, but by the time my mom had driven me home and I had watched half an episode of the West Wing, I was pretty much myself again.

So, barring any complications, I should be completely healed in a few days. I'm going to try to take it easy, of course. We rented six movies from Blockbuster and I'm probably going to go watch one of them now.

Thanks again for the well-wishing. All is good. :)
