For everyone who thinks the Internet is a good thing, allow me to say that the Internet enables two people to meet who should have never met at any point in the great universal experience. I'm not talking about coming across the rapists and other dangerous entities; I'm talking about increasing your chances of finding an evil doppelganger.
Case in point, I think I have encountered someone who is perhaps the goateed Spock to my regular Spock. It is not the revolution of the mind I thought it would be -- instead it is quite unsettling. Like we weren't ever supposed to cross paths . . .
