I have stumbled upon probably the best collection of inspirational web designs I've ever seen. I wish I had the command over color that some of these designers have (see example, right). Maybe I should just pair up with a talented graphic designer, and together we can take over the world.
Actually, it's things like this that make me want to get out of the business of making web sites. When my friend Adam listed to DragonForce for the first time, he immediately threw down his guitars and exclaimed, "I give up!" It's hard to come to terms with the knowledge of one's own artistic limitations, and in the face of true mastery, it becomes even harder -- and fruitless -- to return to one's own performance of mediocrity.
Or, in the words of Kent Brockman, "one thing is for certain: there is no stopping them; the ants will soon be here. And I for one welcome our new insect overlords."
