Outside Red Rock Canyon, Nevada

September 2008

"Ghost Town" was very funny. I give it a solid B+.

Feel good about a lot of things right now. Almost done with my side gig. At Sonny's, then "Ghost Town" at the movies.

I have a ton of things to sell on eBay/Half/Amazon. I don't know why I haven't yet--I'm sitting on a goldmine! (Or so the infomercial says.)

The weather here has been unbelievable! Nice and cool, breezy... almost, *almost* makes me forget that I [strongly dislike] this town.

In the midst of a post-lunch doldrums. I really ought to start bringing a (healthy, sugar-balanced) lunch instead of eating out every day.

I'm finding it difficult to list my achievements at my job and keep it concise. Hopefully this will lead to my moving forward/upward.

It's truly astounding how fast time goes when you're actually trying to accomplish something at work.

I get to work, hit the ground running, and it's already 11 am. Now to pause for station identification--then back to todo list, full speed.

My Italian soda at Macaroni Grill tastes and smells like spruce.

Sitting in an empty theater. Gonna see "Tropic Thunder." Nobody's here! It's weird.

Playing with the new Google Chrome browser. I'm impressed!

Back in Athens after our backpacking. Now to shower(!!) and drive back to Tallahassee.
